Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is a model and actor. Following her debut in a feature film with a small part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donevan in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody began modelling after being approached by a professional photographer. This led to an enviable career as a commercial model. Doody avoided nude and glamour modeling, which that she incorporated into her acting. When she was dragged into the sights to the director of casting for the upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill.
