Lil Yacthy is an artist musician, rapper, and performer. He is most well-known for his hit single "One Night". Miles Parks McCollum, his actual name is Miles Parks McCollum. He is also known under the names Nautica Boat Boy and Lil Boat. He became famous with his two mixtapes , 'Summer Songs 2' and 'Lil boat'. But this wasn't his first attempt at singing. The first songs he recorded, 'One Night' (August 2015) and 'Minnesota' (August 2015) were what gained him the first recognition. Both of them were part of his debut EP (Extended play), called 'Summer Songs. He has currently music labels such as Capital Records and 'Quality Control Music' and Motown Records' under his collection. Yachty has collaborated with many famous rappers, including 'D.R.A.M. and 'Chance the Rapper. Yachty sells merchandise through his official website. He lived with a friend in New York and searched for opportunities to enter the music business. While there he hung out with street fashion stars online and gained a good following on Instagram. He also teamed up with Burberry Perry Producer and Beat Maker and later with his second main collaborator K$upreme. They're collectively known as 'The Saling Team'. They were in Lil Yachty's bedroom studio. His first success was when Drake's OVO Sound Radio aired his smash hit song 'Minnesota'. The turning point for Lil Yachty was his song "1Night". The singer posted the video for the track online and it quickly went viral. He became the focus of the media's focus when the SoundCloud version of "One Night" was used in a viral meme.
