Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis, actor and musician, is famous for his smart and hard-edged parts in action films. He has been in over $2.5 billion dollars worth of films. Walter Bruce Willis, a West German-born actor, was born in Idar–Oberstein, West Germany on March 19 1955, to Marlene Kassel (from Carneys Point), and David Andrew Willis (from New Jersey), who lived on a military base in the United States. His family moved to U.S. shortly after he was born, and he was raised in Penns Grove, New Jersey in which his mother worked at a bank and his father was a welder as well as a factory worker. Willis began to take an interest in drama arts during his high school. He was "discovered" during his time working at the cafe in a New York City cafe. Then, he was a part of several off-Broadway productions. A night, he was bartending and was noticed by a casting agent who liked his personality. He needed an bartender for an unimportant role in a movie. Willis was a part of countless auditions before landing the role in the romantic comedy of the same name, Moonlighting (1985), as David Addison. His sarcastic humor and wittiness as a P.I. is a highlight of his professional career. Some believe it's a practice run to prepare for Willis his role in Die Hard (1988), where he single-handedly defeated the thieves of a gang from an Los Angeles skyscraper. In Die Hard 2 (1990), he reprised the role. A group of rebellious Special Forces soldiers is trying to bring back a corrupt South American general. They are located in Washington's Dulles International Airport. The film's outstanding performance at the box office prompted an sequel to Die Hard with revenge (1995). This time, Samuel L. Jackson starred as a cynical Harlem shopkeeper who was accidentally forced to assist McClane in the aftermath of a terrorist attack on a hot New York City day.
